brought on by today (August 1st) being the Pagan feast of Lughnashadh (or Lammas if you prefer)I made a few Icons for the four major pagan holidays of the year: Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh, and Samhain.

for those of you who don't know Imbolc is February 2nd and represents new beginnings, Beltane is May 1st and represents fertility, Lughnasadh is August 1st and represents the first Harvest, and Samhain is October 31st and represents endings/death.

yes that was an extremely short explaination but those who do know understand and those hwo don't know probably don't care for the long-winded dissertation that I could go on... but for now here they are:

hi I'm Wyvern and I make LJ and Message board icons. this is the site that I use to post them in... I chose a journal instead of a community because its easier for me. please feel free to kick back and take a browse through my icons... please bear the following guidelines in mind:

1. Please comment when you take an image, I enjoy positive feedback and also want to know what people liked so I can do more of it.

2. please credit </a></font></b></a>wyverns_jewels. its good karma

3. no hotlinking. please save them on your own computer and upload them to your journal/ message board. and lets be honset, everyone's computer loads slowly enough without adding to it by hot linking

4. no flames please. Constructive criticism is welcome so that I can improve my techniques and styles but hatemail will be deleted and ignored so don't waste your time.

5. if the Icon says don't take then please don't do it. If I do a commission I will post it for people to see so if they like it they can commission other things similar to it if they want to. If I notice images that are being used without permission I will tak them off the site.
